Who We Are
The Chicago Jitterbug Club is a not-for-profit social and educational organization chartered by the State of Illinois and dedicated to the preservation of jitterbug/swing dancing and its music. We’ve been meeting in the southwestern suburbs of Chicago for 30+ years, so if you enjoyed your visit you might want to join.
The Chicago Jitterbug Club has over 125 members from all corners of Chicagoland and Indiana. Since we are a dance club and not a “singles” organization, we have both married and single members to meet and make lasting friendships. We feel very strongly about perpetuating our dance heritage and hope you agree. So, come meet and dance with some of the greatest people in the world, our members!!!!!
Can’t dance? Let us teach you!
Throughout the year we offer various lessons taught by dance instructors who can take you from newbie to accomplished dancer in no time.
Partners are not necessary but are encouraged to add to the fun. For more information Contact Us

Application Fee (first year, then $25/year):
• Reduced attendance dues to Club events
• Membership discounts at sister clubs
• Free-attendance events for members
• Footloose (the Club newsletter)
• Discounts on dance lessons
To join, fill out the application and have a sponsoring member sign it. As all members are asked to help keep the Club successful by donating time once or twice a year, please check the boxes that best fit your personal skills or interests. Then, add the Application Fee ($30 check) and mail to the address shown.
